View the Stars at Lowell Observatory

With gorgeous, crip fall weather and some of the darkest skies you can get in a city (thanks to Flagstaff’s light pollution laws), Lowell is an amazing family destination. The town of Tombstone sits in southeastern Arizona, and is well-known for its historic past (I mean, hello— there’s even a movie named after it!). But we think that one of the most interesting parts about the city is actually digging into the history and hearing all of the eerie details.

When you sign up for a ghost jaunt through Ghost City Tours, whether you’re a believer or not, you’re bound to have a blast! Tours focus on the spooky past of the town and its attractions, even taking you to some of the city’s most haunted places.
